This Notice explains how Sync Params ("we") collects and processes personal data when you use SyncParams.
Controller
We are the data controller for personal data described here. Contact: support@syncparams.com.
Data we collect
- Account data: name, studio name, email, hashed password.
- Service data: games, parameters, votes, and configuration you create.
- Usage data: API call counts, login timestamps, device and browser information, IP address.
- Support data: messages and attachments you send us.
Purposes and legal basis
- Provide the Service — performance of contract.
- Account security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests.
- Improve the Service — legitimate interests.
- Customer support — performance of contract.
- Legal compliance — legal obligation.
Sharing
We share personal data with:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (subprocessors) used to operate the Service.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary.
- Authorities where required by law.
Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; we then delete or anonymize your data.
International transfers
If data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or rely on adequacy decisions where applicable.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact support@syncparams.com; we respond within one month.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege role separation.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to provide core functionality. We do not use marketing or third-party advertising cookies.

We may update this Notice; we'll change the "Last updated" date above.
